Tip-a-Cop Dinners
One of the main fund raisers that the Law Enforcement Torch Run holds to raise money for Special Olympics. At a typical Tip-a-Cop dinner, officers serve as celebrity waiters and serve up fantastic meals. All tips received are given to local Special Olympic programs.
Tip-a-Cop has been a favorite way for officers to raise money and the public cannot wait to have the officers wait on them hand and foot. Call you local law enforcement agency and ask when they are having their Tip-a-Cop dinner. Where "Protect & SERVE" has a whole new meaning!

We have also listed our other events on this page. Every event is designed to bring awareness to Special Olympics and to raise money for our athletes. Monies raised will be forwarded to the Special Olympics Program in the area in which the event was held.

Get your game on, and start pumping! Special Olympics Southern
California invites you to experience and participate in Plane Pull. Join us
on August 16th, as teams of 20 join up to pull a FedEx 727-200 airplane a
total of 25 feet on the tarmac at the Long Beach Airport. Since its
inception in 1998, the Plane Pull has turned out to be one of the most
entertaining fundraising events for Special Olympics programs. Come out
and join us as each team battles for bragging rights as the strongest and
fastest. The event is open to law enforcement agencies, fire departments,
and corporate teams. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and the Plane Pull
starts at 10:00 a.m. Get Ready to Pull!

total of 25 feet on the tarmac at the Long Beach Airport. Since its
inception in 1998, the Plane Pull has turned out to be one of the most
entertaining fundraising events for Special Olympics programs. Come out
and join us as each team battles for bragging rights as the strongest and
fastest. The event is open to law enforcement agencies, fire departments,
and corporate teams. Registration begins at 8:45 a.m. and the Plane Pull
starts at 10:00 a.m. Get Ready to Pull!

Get your game on, and start pumping! Special Olympics Southern California invites you to experience and participate in Plane Pull. Join us on August 26th, as teams of 20 join up to pull a FedEx 727-200 airplane a total of 25 feet on the tarmac at Ontario International Airport! Since its inception in 1998, the Plane Pull has turned out to be one of the most entertaining fundraising events for Special Olympics programs. Come out and join us as each team battles for bragging rights as the strongest and fastest. The event is open to law enforcement agencies, fire departments, and corporate teams. Registration begins at 9:15 a.m. and the Plane Pull starts at 10:00 a.m.
